Historic maps

Braiseworth is covered by two adjoining sheets of the Ordnance Survey 25-inch map, both revised in 1903 and published in 1904. They show every field, farm and building in the parish at the turn of the twentieth century, and can be viewed — and compared with a modern map or aerial photograph — on the National Library of Scotland’s free map viewer.
